Happy Birthday, Cancers!

It’s finally that time of year again for all us Cancers to celebrate our birthdays! June 21- July 22 belongs to Cancer, the fourth sign in the zodiac. Happy birthday to all my fellow crabs!

I’m actually a huge nerd when it comes to astrology. I’m not one of those people who buys into horoscopes word for word, but I do read them occasionally and most of the time I find them to be pretty accurate! Here’s a little bit about my sign, Cancer:

Cancer is one of three zodiac signs that belong to the element water. Cancers are nurturing, loyal and can be emotional. Their ruling planet is the moon. Cancers are seen to be the “mothers” of the zodiac, always caring for others and focusing on the home.

In plain english, Cancers are emotional introverts! Just kidding. But really, I think my zodiac is spot on with my personality. I’m definitely a homebody who prefers to stay in and spend a cozy night at home. I’m very independent and I can sometimes be emotional! I love the fact that I’m a water sign and a true moon child. The only part of my sign I don’t agree with is the nurturing “mother” side of it. I’m not very good with kids and I don’t really want any of my own. But I suppose you can be nurturing to other people besides just children.
