I’m Making an Etsy Shop!

Hello everyone and happy Sunday! I absolutely love Sundays because I feel like they’re my most productive yet relaxing day of the week. So on this productive day, I’m working on creating an Etsy shop!

I came up with the idea last night, and today I plan on actually working with the logistics and figuring out what to sell. What really inspired me was when I made my DIY Yarn Wall Hanging. I showed it to a lot of family and friends who really loved it. I already promised like three people I would make one for them, and that’s when I decided I could sell them.

The wall hangings are really inexpensive and easy to make, but they do require a little bit of time and lots of planning and measuring. So not everyone has the desire to make it themselves. I know there are lots of other people selling wall hangings already on Etsy, but I hope to set mine apart with the aesthetic and color palettes I choose.

Eventually I hope to expand my products to other home decor items, so it’s like a one stop shop for decorating your home or making a gallery wall. So far I’m thinking of dream catchers, something with plants, framed pictures, and some other framed art. It sounds ambitious, I know.

I was also toying with the idea of adding bullet journal things as well, like maybe stickers, printable layouts, things like that. But I’m not sure that really fits in with the rest of my theme. Let me know what you think about that.

As far as the name of my shop, I’m a little stuck. I wanted it to be something similar to the name of my blog, Lauren’s Notebook, but I don’t think that accurately describes what I’d be selling. I was playing around with a double name like Linen & Brass or something to that effect. If you have any ideas, I would love to hear them!

I also plan to do some sort of discount code for my followers here on the blog, if you guys are interested in ordering something. And if you have anything specific you’d like to see, please let me know.
